Everyone, you have got to try and eat at Cyma! There's one in Greenbelt, and another in Trinoma... the portions are incredibly generous, and the flavors divine! Digging up what little I knew of high school Greek mythology, I asked Michael if this was the kind of food Achilles or Odysseus would have eaten in their time, but he couldn't say.
(Weird over-analytical moment: Achilles kinda strikes me as a cowboy, a no-frills kind of guy who can survive on spring water and stale bread. But Odysseus was a king and had a wife and prolly entertained in his time... he just seems like the kind of guy who'd have abundant stocks of olives, wine, and feta cheese tucked away in his kitchens somewhere... hmm...)
But ah... the food was so lovely. If only it hadn't cost me five toes and a pinky (not quite an arm and a leg but if someone had ordered wine I'd have to had to stay behind and sing for money well into my birthday :p)... |
